Independence Day

Freedom an’ Whisky

By Nikolyn Williams

Over the years I’ve seen these cowboys kneel for a lot of things.

I’ve seen him kneel to hobble a horse.

I’ve seen him kneel to help a new born calf just born into this world. I’ve seen him kneel, help an elderly person.

I’ve seen him kneel to soothe a small crying child.

I’ve seen him kneel, to ask his sweet heart to stay with him for the rest of her life.

I’ve seen him kneel before God in prayer.

What I have never seen him do is take a knee in disrespect.

Honor and love of God, Country and his fellow man and the animals he cares for, are what he lives, breathes, and most importantly, make his valiant heart beat.

Today we honor and celebrate the Fourth of July, The day 13 colonies, declared their FREEDOM! A day I can guarantee are etched on the hearts and minds of every Cowboy in the United States of America!

I think it’s best described by the words of Captian Woodrow Call, “ I hate rude behavior in a man. I won’t tolerate it.”

Happy Fourth of July! “ The Land of the Free and the home of the brave!”

Love Always

Nikolyn
